Story

SBK in the Open is a free dance event that strives to create a secure and inclusive dance environment where everyone is welcome, fostering community unity. As part of our efforts to make this event more impactful, we are offering participants the opportunity to contribute any amount they wish as a donation to Juno Woman's Aid. We deeply admire this organization for its exceptional dedication to supporting survivors of domestic abuse.

Juno Women’s Aid’s vision is of a world where women, children, and teenagers live their lives free from domestic and sexual abuse and violence. Our aim is to work to prevent domestic violence and abuse as well as providing services to meet the needs of survivors. Our work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from violence and abuse.
