Spread a Smile brings joy and laughter to seriously ill children in NHS hospitals and hospices across the country.
Through in-person and virtual visits, as well as special events, Spread a Smile’s team of entertainers – including magicians, musicians, artists, fairies, and therapy dogs – help enhance wellbeing and bring comfort to young patients and their families.
At Scales & Tales, we share this belief in the transformative power of the performing arts. Just as Spread a Smile creates moments of happiness and relief during hospital stays, our clubs and workshops aim to inspire confidence, creativity, and joy in every child we work with. Together, we celebrate the role of music, drama, and dance in lifting spirits, building resilience, and bringing communities closer.
