Red Rose Recovery Vs Domestic Abuse

Scaling Scafell SIX times in 24 hours · 21 June 2025
As many of you know, Libby and Charlotte embark on a challenge every year to raise money for individuals or charities in need.
This year, their challenge is not for the faint-hearted. They are pushing themselves to the absolute limit, scaling Scafell Pike (England's highest mountain) SIX times in just 24 hours—that’s over 40 miles of relentless climbing, brutal terrain, and sheer exhaustion. But no matter how hard it gets, it will never compare to the battle faced by survivors of domestic abuse every single day.
Why are we doing this?
Because right now, someone is trapped in a cycle of abuse, too afraid to leave. Right now, someone is being broken down, made to feel worthless, believing there’s no way out. One in four women and one in six men will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. It destroys confidence, isolates victims, and leaves scars that last a lifetime.
We’re doing this for them. To raise money, to raise awareness, and to make sure that when someone reaches out for help, they’re met with the support they need—not silence.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help provide safe spaces, peer support, and real opportunities for survivors to rebuild their lives.
Please donate, share, and help us make a difference—because no one should lose their life to domestic abuse, and no one should have to climb their mountain alone.
