Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 20th of June, Stu, Emily, Rosie, Rachel and Andy will be completing a charity bike ride to help in whatever way we can to raise money for this cruel disease. With all of us having family experiencing this devastating diagnosis, we feel it is our duty to raise money for this cause.

The ride will consist of cycling to Scarborough on 20th June and returning the following day 21st June, terminating at The National pub some time in the afternoon.

Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer and there is currently no cure, with somebody being diagnosed with dementia every three minutes. Please donate whatever you can for this worthy cause, together we can make a difference in fighting this terrible condition that steals our loved ones in front of our very eyes.
