I’m participating in the Sheffield Half Marathon 2026 to raise awareness and money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

I’m running in memory of my uncle Andrew and grandma Brenda who sadly passed away from MND.

My uncle Andrew was an avid runner, who amazingly managed to keep running late after his diagnosis. Throughout his life, he ran marathons, half marathons and fun runs for charity. It feels fitting to attempt to do the same in his and Grandma’s memory, for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association is an incredible charity that raises both awareness and money to support those living with MND, their families and research into the condition – to hopefully one day find a cure.
