On 3 May 2025 I will be walking 106km none stop around the Isle of Wight with my friend and colleague Priya.

Hoping to get round in 24 hours, fuelled by fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a few savvy b's, laughs and probably a bit of crying.

Working for the trust allows us to speak to so many inspirational, strong and determined people, despite the difficulties they face from their condition, every day. This is just a small way for us to be able to give back and help those with CF.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 11,000 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.

Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.
