We're the team at Schillers Hall, and on 1st September 2026 we're swapping our aprons and bar towels for walking boots and waterproofs to climb Snowdon — the highest mountain in Wales — all in aid of a charity that's very close to home for us: Centre 56.

Centre 56 is a Liverpool-based charity that has been supporting families and children affected by domestic abuse and crisis since 1973. In fact, they were the very first refuge to open outside of London. Today they offer so much more than shelter — from an Ofsted-accredited nursery to practical, hands-on help for families with nowhere else to turn. When a parent arrives with nothing — no food, no clothes, no idea what comes next — Centre 56 is there. The money we raise will go directly towards that vital, life-changing work happening right here on our doorstep.

Now, we won't pretend we're seasoned mountaineers — there'll be sore legs, questionable playlists and at least one of us asking "are we nearly there yet?" — but we're taking on all 1,085 metres of it together as a team, and we'd absolutely love your support.
