Story

Just Giving Kiltwalk Dianne Smith

Edinburgh Kiltwalk — 13th September 2026 💙

On Sunday 13th September 2026, Sami, Jeanie, Seb, Alfie, Callie, Paddy and I will be taking on the Mighty Stride at the Edinburgh Kiltwalk — 21 miles from Holyrood Park, round the capital, and finishing at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium.

We’re doing it together to celebrate the life of our dear friend Dianne Smith, who passed away on 4th March this year, just shy of her 45th birthday.

Dianne meant a huge amount to all of us, and this is very much a joint effort from the whole gang in her memory.

She was one of my oldest friends. I’d known her since I moved to Edinburgh over 20 years ago, and she was exactly the kind of person you never forget.

A long-time Tartan Army legend, the unofficial Scottish Minister for Sport, and an absolute loony. Funny, fierce, full of life and properly loved.

Together, we’re raising money for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, a charity Dianne massively supported and one that means a lot to us too.

So, if you’ve got a spare few quid and fancy helping all of us do something good in Dianne’s memory, we’d be hugely grateful.

Every donation to this page supports our whole Kiltwalk team and means the world to us.
