In 2024, what is the true cost of surviving? And, what happens when your income falls short? How can you make ends meet when the sums don’t add up? Hunger and foodbank use is rarely just about food. It’s about surviving. Can you help us?

Story

Hello and welcome to the fundraising page of Steel City Interactive's philanthropic athletes! Our dedicated and enthusiastic troupe, comprised of programmers, designers, testers, and other team members, is gearing up to don their running shoes and take on a memorable 10km challenge!

Our goal? To ensure our neighbors do not go hungry.

Located right in the heart of our beloved city, the S6 Foodbank provides a lifeline to individuals and families struggling with food insecurity. As the hardworking staff and wonderful volunteers tirelessly distribute nutritious meals to those in need, we've decided it's our time to step in and contribute to their noble cause - and we're taking these steps quite literally!

We're running 10 kilometers to raise funds that will go directly to providing food parcels and a ray of hope to countless households. This charity run isn't just about the distance we'll cover, but the difference we'll make.

Every bit helps, no matter how small. By donating to our cause, you’re not just helping us reach our fundraising goal, you’re providing a meal, a smile, and dignity to someone in our community.

Let's power this backpack of relief together - one kilometer at a time.

Thank you for your support. Let's run into a future where no one in our city goes hungry!
