Story
This summer, I am proud to be fundraising for Scope, a charity that is incredibly close to my heart.
As someone living with multiple long-term health conditions and disabilities, I understand first-hand the challenges that disabled people can face every day. From barriers to accessibility and inclusion to navigating healthcare, employment, and everyday life, many disabled people continue to encounter obstacles that can affect their independence, wellbeing, confidence, and opportunities.
While my journey has been shaped by resilience, determination, and a strong support network, I recognise that not everyone has access to the same resources, opportunities, or support. This is why organisations like Scope are so important.
Scope works tirelessly to create a fairer society where disabled people have equal opportunities to participate, contribute, and thrive. Through their support services, campaigns, advocacy, and commitment to driving positive change, they help challenge barriers, influence policy, and ensure disabled voices are heard.
My personal experiences have shown me the importance of representation, accessibility, and inclusion. They have also inspired me to use my voice to advocate for change and to support others facing similar challenges. Whether through my work as an NHS leader, disability advocate, speaker, founder of Ultimate Royal UK, or as Ms London City, I am passionate about helping create a world where disability is not a barrier to achieving your ambitions.
Fundraising for Scope is my way of giving back to a cause that aligns closely with my values and lived experience. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support Scope's vital work and contribute to building a more inclusive society where disabled people can live with dignity, confidence, and opportunity.
If you are able to support my fundraising efforts, I would be incredibly grateful. Together, we can help create lasting change and ensure that disabled people are empowered to reach their full potential.
Thank you for your support.
