A team from Scotmid Funerals and Fosters Family Funeral Directors will soon be taking on an incredible challenge to raise funds for Cruse Scotland, abseiling from the iconic Forth Bridge!

Working in the funeral profession, we see first-hand how deeply the loss of a loved one can affect individuals and families. We also know that, in the midst of grief, having someone to turn to can make a profound difference.

That’s why we’re proud to be taking on this challenge in support of Cruse Scotland. Their dedicated teams provide free, confidential bereavement support to children, young people and adults across Scotland, helping people navigate the often overwhelming journey through grief.

Every donation, whatever the amount, will help Cruse Scotland continue to provide this vital support when people need it most.

Here’s what your donation could help provide:

- £10 could cover the cost of a one-hour call to the Cruse Scotland bereavement helpline.

- £50 could provide a tailored pack of arts, crafts, books and toys for a bereaved child, helping them to express their feelings and engage with therapy.

- £100 could cover the full cost of an in-person one-to-one counselling session for a bereaved adult or child in Scotland

- £2,500 could cover a full day of nationwide running costs for Cruse Scotland.
