Story

Help Me Fund the Fight Against Brain Tumours

In 2027, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.

This will be my second marathon for BTR, having previously completed the Dublin Marathon in 2025. That experience inspired me to keep going and continue supporting a cause that is very close to my heart.

A close friend of mine was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Thankfully, he was one of the lucky ones. After undergoing lengthy, lifesaving surgery, he has made a full recovery. Seeing what he went through made me realise just how devastating a brain tumour diagnosis can be, and how much more needs to be done.

Sadly, many others are not so fortunate. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. That simply isn't enough.

So, I’m hoping to raise as much as I can through the London Marathon and make a meaningful contribution to the vital research needed to improve treatments, save lives and, ultimately, find a cure.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help. If you can spare anything, I would be incredibly grateful for your support. And if you can't donate, sharing this page could make just as much difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me fund the fight.

Together we will find a cure!
