Scott Armstrong's fundraiser for Vision25

Scott Armstrong is raising money for Vision25

Edinburgh Marathon 2025 · 25 May 2025 ·

Our charity offers a meaningful option for young people living with a disability, aged 17+. We are driven by one goal; for our young adults to be as independent as possible. We promote this by fully including them in all aspects of the community. Our young adults enjoy a programme of activities that are fun, interesting, and motivational. These activities are part of our ‘Developing Skills for Life’ programme where we encourage our young adults to participate in work experience and volunteering to gain valuable work skills. We try to integrate our members into the local community and wider communities as much as possible to promote social inclusion and health and well-being.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running this years Edinburgh Marathon to raise funds for Vision 25. Vision 25 is an amazing charity providing young disabled adults with training and learning opportunities. Our son Oscar has been attending since he was 18. It is run by a professional and caring team who provide Oscar with opportunities to learn and to promote his independence. He takes part in all activities including cooking, shopping, woodwork and lots of trips out to various events in the community, all facilitated by Vision staff. For Oscar and us its much more than that, Oscar now has a wonderful friendship group from Vision he spends his days with having fun and making memories. A wonderful charity that absolutely deserves support.
