My beloved Nan, Maureen Wilson, sadly passed away last year after a long battle with dementia. And so to honour the woman who helped raise me and challenge myself, I am taking part in the Kew Gardens half marathon.

Alzheimer’s Society represents the effort to understand and discover ways to prevent a disease which is unfortunately becoming increasingly common and affects not just the lives of those who suffer from it, but the relatives and carers who support them.

This is my own way of giving back to a good cause. Any and all donations are thoroughly appreciated! :)
