Story
As most of you will know we lost my Beautiful wife Sarah in July 22 after a short battle with this awful disease. She was an amazing human being, wife, mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friends to those who knew here. She was very fit women and a regular on the London marathon race. Well respected all over the world in her occupation and inspirational to those that knew her. She was a very clever women who also loved her three boys more than everything and was good cop to my bad cop to them.
Me and my boys have been fundraising through various challenges over the past year for different charities close to our heart. This year im running London Marathon again . This time for the Ruth Strauss Foundation. Ruth passed away with the same awful cancer that Sarah did.
Gone but never forgotten, until we meet again we fight on.
The Ruth Strauss Foundation supports families when a parent is living with an incurable cancer, helping them have the conversations that matter most and providing tailored emotional support.
We also raise awareness and fund research into non-smoking lung cancer – a growing but often overlooked illness.
Our mission is simple: to ensure no family faces these challenges alone.
