Story

The raffle for the player-issued, squad-signed AFC Bournemouth shirt (issued to and signed by Ryan Christie) is now officially complete!

Thank you to everyone who entered, donated, shared, and supported — your generosity helped raise vital funds for Action for Children as part of Boycott Your Bed.

We drew the winner live on Zoom (with all the glamour of a 1970s game show filmed in my bedroom…), using a fair and transparent random draw. The video is now posted for anyone who wants to see the “production values” for themselves!

Although the raffle has ended, the need this campaign supports hasn’t. If you’d still like to contribute to Action for Children’s work supporting vulnerable children across the UK, you can continue to donate directly through this page. Every pound still makes a difference.

Thank you again for being part of this — your support genuinely matters. 100% of proceeds go directly to Action for Children, helping support vulnerable children across the UK.

Why? Because right now, 4.5 million kids in the UK are living in poverty. That’s 1 in 3 children going to bed cold, hungry, and feeling unsafe. Every. Single. Night.

It shouldn’t be like this. Not here. Not now.

Action for Children is a brilliant charity that’s doing the hard, unglamorous work of helping kids get the basics:

- A hot meal

- A warm coat

- Shoes that fit

- A proper bed to sleep in

Things every child should have — but far too many don’t.

- £10 might feel like nothing to us — but it can mean the world to a child.

- £50 could buy shoes for two kids.

- £65 could help a child feel safe, warm, and like they matter.

This isn't about grand gestures — it’s about doing something.

And if now’s not the right time to give, maybe just share this. Spread the word. Help me get it in front of someone who can.

Because childhood is short. And right now, too many kids are missing out.

Thanks for reading — and thanks even more if you can support.
