If you're here, you're likely aware that I've been battling bladder cancer for over four years. Up until recently, I had been managing to cope with my diagnosis and treatments. However, in June 2024, I was informed that the best course of action for my health is a radical cystectomy (bladder removal). Throughout the summer of 2024, I’ve leaned heavily on the incredible support of the staff and volunteers at Maggie’s Forth Valley.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the amazing team at Maggie’s Forth Valley, who have been by my side every step of the way during this chapter of my life. To show my appreciation, I’ve decided to launch this “Name My Stoma” fundraiser.

For a small donation of £5 (or whatever you can), you can suggest a name for my stoma in the donation comments box. Please keep it fun, respectful, and clean—let’s avoid any “Boaty McBoatface” style names!

I genuinely don’t know how I would have coped without the brilliant team at Maggie’s Forth Valley, and I’m incredibly thankful for their continued support. Let’s have a bit of fun, and who knows, if a name particularly stands out, I might actually use it!
