Lisa and I are competing the Great North Run to raise valuable funds for East Durham Veterans Trust is a veterans mental health charity that supports veterans and their families.

This is something Lisa wanted to do so I've jumped on board to support, I will get board so I plan on doing it with a 37KG diving set on my back lol

We support veterans and their families in a number of areas but mainly in the mental health, social inclusion and support with the tranistion from military to civlian life.

We have supported just over 750 veterans and family members within this time and our counselling service is one of the best in the region for veterans and their families. In 2023 the mental health service was rated at 4.97 out of 5 from the people who accessed the service.

The support we get off the community allows us to continue to do what we do in this way,all funds that are raised stay in our region and support our veterans and their families.
