I joined the San José Public Library Foundation Board of Directors 6 years ago with the intention of serving and giving to an organization that helps change people’s lives. SJPLF is well managed and fiscally responsible. I have enjoyed serving with the awesome staff and other BOD members. I'm seeking as much support as I can get in my final months as BOD chair in effort to leave a legacy of friends who are supporters of our library system.

The San José Public Library Foundation was established 35 years ago to provide advocacy, critical financial support, and leadership to the San José Public Library, our community’s lifelong learning hub. SJPLF empowers the library to provide free, life-changing programs to everyone in the San José community regardless of physical abilities, ethnicity, age, and education. SJPLF is committed to creating and sustaining an educated, engaged, and empowered community where everyone has equal access to places where they can learn, create, collaborate, innovate, and explore.
