I’m raising money for the YMCA because of the impact the organization had on me growing up and the impact I see that it makes in the community today.

From child care, youth sports, after school programs, teen camps, swimming programs, Livestrong, Forever Young, Safe Place Services, and many more not mentioned; everyone has probably been touched by the YMCA at some point.

The YMCA does not turn anyone away and relies on fundraising to support these programs and make them affordable / available for anyone in any situation.
