SACS Ramadan Appeal 2026

Scottish Asian Counselling Services is raising money for Scottish Asian Counselling Services
To support the South Asian communities with culturally appropriate therapy to improve their mental health by providing services and psychoeducation through one-to-one counselling sessions, group work, and workshops. Working in collaboration with institutions, community organisations, religious leaders to promote diversity and inclusion in therapy. To provide educational opportunities to train and supervise our therapists and students to demonstrate professional competence in equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Story

This Ramadan, the question is not whether mental health struggles exist — it’s what happens if nothing changes.

Across our communities, many people carry anxiety, grief, and emotional distress in silence, held back by stigma and barriers to accessing support.

Scottish Asian Counselling Services provides culturally informed counselling and wellbeing support, creating safe spaces where individuals and families feel understood, respected, and heard.

Your donation this Ramadan will help us:

• Provide accessible counselling sessions

• Offer early support before struggles become crises

• Reduce stigma by creating safe spaces for healing

• Expand culturally responsive mental health support in our communities

Every contribution helps ensure that no one has to struggle alone.

Please donate and share this appeal.

Healing is a form of sadaqah.
