In August 2022, my son Ben passed away following his fight with cancer, aged just 20 years old.

In the last year, I have used Ben as my inspiration and taken it upon myself to overcome physical and mental health challenges, and I now volunteer for The Killie Community.

I am walking the full distance of the Kiltwalk as a target for myself, and to raise funds for the heatlh and wellbeing programmes that have helped turn my life around.
