My little girl has been at Scouthall Playgroup for the past year now and it has completely changed her life. However, not only her life, the playgroup has been an established part of the Westhill community for 40 years and provides preschool care for children from age two and a half to five. They have done such incredible things for all the children over the years and I would love, with your support, to give something back by upgrading the playgroup provisions.

Due to the rising cost of living and increasing financial demands, the playgroup is finding it harder to remain financially viable and rely heavily on the support of families and the committee to meet the gap between income and outgoings. My goal is to raise enough money to provide the teachers with an electronic white board. This tool will help children learn and engage in activities on a whole new level.

To try and make this happen, I have signed up to run the Garioch Half Marathon. This would be a personal achievement as I have never ran anywhere near this distance before. Not only will I be raising funds through your generous sponsorship, but I am also selling 'sponsorship spaces' to businesses on the t-shirt.
