About Stirling County RFC
Stirling County Rugby Football Club is proud to be one of Scotland’s leading community rugby clubs and a registered charity. Through our Schools Programme, we bring the benefits of rugby — fitness, teamwork, life skills and community spirit — directly into local classrooms and playing fields across Stirling and the wider Central region.
Present Delivery (2024-25)
• 3 Secondary Schools — Wallace HS, Dunblane HS, Stirling HS,
• 15 Primary Schools --- P4-P7
• 30 hours/week of coaching, refereeing and mentoring in schools
• Employed 2 x Modern Apprentice Coaches

Our Ambition
✅ 5 Secondary Schools — Wallace HS, Dunblane HS, Stirling HS, plus two more local secondaries about to come onboard.
✅ 30+ Primary Schools — local feeder schools linked to each high school
✅ Over 60 hours/week of coaching and mentoring in schools, employ more coaches
✅ Dedicated festivals and tournaments hosted at Stirling County RFC
✅ Floodlit facilities and match video footage for schools

Key Aims
High Schools
• Increase participation in sport
• Develop rugby and life skills for S1–U16 boys and girls
• Support school staff to expand school rugby
• Provide clear pathways for players to join our club teams
• Run a Schools Cup competition each Easter term for all local High Schools, with mini leagues, playoffs and finals at our club grounds.
Primary Schools
• Introduce children to rugby in a fun, positive environment
• Develop fundamental movement and co-operative life skills
• Grow confidence to participate in team sports
• Provide regular festivals at the club for boys and girls
• Create a seamless link from primary schools to club rugby
