YoungMinds is the UK's leading charity championing the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Driven by their experience, YoungMinds creates change so that children and young people can cope with life's adversities, find help when needed and succeed in life.

I have given an Undertaking to YoungMinds that I will gift an escalating percentage of the royalties from my autobiography, Rock Bottom. This is important, and personal, to me. I suffered my own childhood trauma, and typically suppressed events and my emotions. I became trapped in my own head.

I am passionate about nurturing the emotional wellbeing and development of the now Generation Z and Generation Alpha. History is proof that the next generation adapts but with in-person communication becoming less frequent, the challenges before youngsters are large, diverse and complex. In the age of abundant information, omnipotent social media and AI, mental health awareness and wellbeing are just so important.
