We are a small resident-led charity, managing the OneStonegrove centre for the benefit of the diverse local community in Edgware, Barnet. We believe in the power of resident-led social action, and we seek to empower local people to take action on what matters to them. We run a variety of activities and services, mostly provided completely free.

Story

Eight of us are completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. It's a 24 mile circular walk, where we will climb the mountains Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. It's a tough challenge with 5,200ft of ascent, and a dropout rate of over 25%!

Our team is made up of our Treasurer Ingrid and her daugher Bianca, our CEO Gus and his mate Ed, our Environmental Projects Coordinator Poppy, her husband Maor, and friends Michelle and Justin.

We're raising funds for the Free Play project at Stonegrove Community Trust in Barnet. This project provides completely free open-ended play activities to local children aged 4-7yrs old.

The activities that we run are designed to provide the maximum opportunities for social and physical development, helping children to make up for the damage done by the Covid-19 pandemic, and ensure that they become everything that they are capable of becoming.

Please support us to raise as much money as possible, and make this challenge event as successful as possible!

We are personally covering all the associated costs of taking on this challenge, so 100% of your donation will go directly to the charity.
