Walk & Talk 4 Men - St Neots fundraiser for MNDA Cambridge · 15 January 2024

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

We are a male walking group formed in St Neots to give men a safe space to talk whilst taking a walk.

For the last two years 20 of us have set ourselves a challenge of walking, cumulatively, 874 miles, the equivalent of John O Groats to Lands End in 7 days.

Our walk will commence on Monday 15th January and finish on Sunday 21st January.

Our chosen charity this year is the MND Association Cambridge division.

We have chosen this charity due to the friendships that we have forged with two St Neots men and their families who have had to face the awful scenarios that this evil disease throws at them.

John Woods continues to battle on, and the memory of Lee Taylor, who we lost last year, will live with us forever and this walk is showing our support to them and their families.

MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The money we raise will be utilised locally by the Cambridge branch.

By sponsoring us your money will help people affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to the MND Association. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure, your details are safe - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Thank you again
