Story
Hi my names Stephanie Dowe, I live in Ayrshire in Scotland. 🏴
I’m a qualified and award winning photographer who lives with a pituatry tumour adenoma.
I was diagnosed more than a decade ago, with a benign progressive mass managed by medication, I’m so thankful mine is treatable, but unfortunately many others are not so lucky, I know all too well the difficulties and how scary it can be to get your diagnosis and treatment.
This charity is close to my heart, not just because of my own health but people close to me haven’t been so lucky in their life and I carry them with me every day ❤️
I have many other health issues, that leave me feeling extremely tired but I don’t let it stop me from doing anything in my life..
2026 new year arrived and i decided to return to portraiture, this progressed onto me meeting a lovely local female make up artist Megan who helped me create SFX for my brain tumour awareness month campaign.
Portraiture is something I hadn’t done in a very very long time, mainly due to my health but my family and friends have supported me so much, I am determined to make a difference while pushing myself out my comfort zone, meeting new people along the way and I have many events and activities coming up over the next 12 months + that I will be doing for this amazing charity so keep tuned and thank you all for your support.
❤️
