Kendal Rotary Club Swimathon · 15 March 2025

We are a local charity providing therapy, achievement and enjoyment for children and adults with disabilities, through riding and carriage driving. We operate from bases near Kendal in Cumbria. (Kendal was formerly in the old county of Westmorland, hence the name of our group.)

Story

On Saturday 15th March our team of swimmers 'The Seahorses' are taking part in a swimathon to raise funds for Westmorland Riding for the disabled group.

'The Seahorses' are Lesley and Joanne!

Westmorland Riding for the Disabled group are a local charity who provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment for children with disabilities through horse riding lessons. Each individual rider has their own personal goals, and our dedicated team of RDA-trained volunteer helpers and instructors support them every step of the way.

Although affiliated to the RDA National Organisation, RDA Westmorland Group Ltd is responsible for its own fundraising and management to keep the Group operational, and we are grateful for your support.
