Paris Marathon 2025 · 13 April 2025 ·

In the UK, 270 people are rushed to hospital every day due to heart attack. At The Mitchy Foundation our aim is simple, to save lives and keep hearts living longer. We do this by providing full cardiovascular screening and providing expert educational advice.

Story

On April 13th, I’ll be attempting to "run" the Paris Marathon to raise money for The Mitchy Foundation. I have trained really hard over the last few months, navigating Decembers festivities and a temperamental hamstring issue, not to mention being far too overweight for all of this :). I would appreciate your support whilst I attempt to complete 26.2 miles, please bare in mind that my company will match 100% of donations so please give as much as you can!

As all of you know this isn't a normal or releastic challenge for me, my first "run" ended at the end of my road, out of breath and unable to continue, so I would really appreciate if you could donate as much as possible to raise money for this fantastic charity, that is doing amazing work preventing sudden heart attacks/cardiac events and supporting individuals that have also lost loved ones to heart disease.

A newly formed, Essex-based charity founded by two children that suddenly lost their dad to a heart attack. The team are determined to use the loss of their dad as motivation to prevent other families suffering such tragedy.

They run free Cholesterol screening clinics around Essex where they uncover key health risks before it’s too late.

The Mitchy Foundation are determined to help as many people get tested across Essex as possible. Every penny raised through this effort will go directly towards further screening.

Thank you for donating it really is appreciated.
