Story
In 2023 my family and I sadly lost my beloved dad to dementia. He was the kindest and most generous gentleman you could ever meet. He would always find the time to do anything for those around him and spent loads of hours supporting in his church community in particular gardening which was his passion.
I'm excited to share that NatWest England is fundraising for Dementia UK, the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family and I will be undertaking my own personal challenge to support as I undertake a skydive for the charity on 31st August.
Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia - it's one of the biggest health challenges of our time. Families affected are often left feeling exhausted and overwhelmed and don’t know where to turn.
That is why Dementia UK is here. Their nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, specialist advice, support and understanding to anyone affected by dementia, whenever it is needed.
When you support Dementia UK, you are helping to grow the number of specialist dementia nurses.
Together, we can help ensure that no one has to face dementia alone.
