Sean's fundraiser for Down Syndrome Cheshire

Sean Curtin is raising money for Down Syndrome Cheshire

adidas Manchester Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Our charity was founded in 2007 by a group of parents, who realised how important it is to connect with other people in order to share experiences. Our aim is to provide opportunities for parents, carers, siblings and extended family networks to have fun in a fully inclusive environment, where a child with Down’s syndrome is one of many, rather than one of a few.

Story

Hi,

I will be running the Manchester Marathon for Down Syndrome Cheshire on 27th April 2025. It is a great cause, so please give generously, if you can. And wish me luck!

The charity is especially close to me, as my beautiful niece, Elle, has Down Syndrome, which is a terribly misunderstood condition. She is an amazing, kind, caring little girl who I know has benefitted greatly from the great work done by Down Syndrome Cheshire who work tirelessly to change outdated misconceptions about the abilities of people with Down Syndrome.
