Story
On Sunday September 7th I'll be running in the Big Half, Citi's sponsored Half Marathon Event. I'll be running to raise money for the Felix Project. This will be my second-ever half-marathon after having run in the Citi sponsored event last year, the Royal Parks Half. That was a great day out (besides it being freezing cold lol see photo) and I managed to raise £902 + £198 in Gift Aid for Cancer Research UK and I'd love to beat that target with this event! Please help me achieve this goal and give to a worthy cause (more info below on the Felix Project). Thanks!
I am joining The Felix Project's mission to see a London where no good food goes to waste and no-one goes hungry.
The Felix Project was established in 2016, in memory of Felix Byam-Shaw, and is London's largest food redistribution charity. They rescue good quality surplus food from over 500 suppliers and redistribute this to over 1,000 community organisations across London, supporting people experiencing food insecurity.
Citi colleagues in London chose The Felix Project as our London Charity Partner for 2025-2026. We’ll be working together to support The Felix Project to increase their supply and help feed more Londoners in need.
The money that you donate will go towards supporting The Felix Project's newly-refurbished South London depot. The depot will significantly boost the capacity of the organisation and mean that more food can be rescued and redistributed to struggling individuals and families across the capital.
