We did it!! We covered 63k or 39 miles in 8 hours 53 minutes. After a 4am start, we set at 6.30am at Steve's favourite haunt East Herts Golf Club and finished at the home of his beloved arsenal the Emirates Stadium at 3.23pm. It was an amazing day and my thanks go out to everyone who came out to support us, either cheering us on at the stops along the way or to run a section with us. A big shout out to Pavlo, Shika and my sons Charlie and Freddie for joining us on the run. Special thanks to my sons Billy and Henry for being there to see me finish. It was incredible and really lifted us along the way especially after the 53k marker - it was very hot!!. A special thanks to Coral (Harrys girlfriend) who organised the whole event with Harry. Finally thank you to my wife Karen who put up with me whilst I was training and flew home from Spain as a surprise to see me run.
