Running the Edinburgh marathon on 24th May 2026 in memory of my mum who fought a hard battle against breast cancer. I chose this marathon as the date it taking place is also my mums birthday so will have extra meaning to it. All donations raised will be going to ArCaS to support anyone else in similar situations on the island to support them through the difficult times.

Arran Cancer Support is a voluntary organisation dedicated to providing free, compassionate support to those on Arran affected by cancer. Since our founding in 1989, we have been here for patients, carers, and families, ensuring no one faces the challenges of cancer alone.

Through kind donations we can offer support including: Transport for appointments on and off island, complimentary wellbeing and therapeutic counselling, provision of specialist equipment for our surgeries, hospital an in-home care and funding a dedicated cancer nurse.
