Fundraiser for Shropshire Mental Health Support

Sean Ireland is raising money for Shropshire Mental Health Support

Yorkshire 3 peaks · 28 June 2025

It's imperative that we input new strategies to combat mental health and suicide prevention in Shropshire. We need to reach people before they get to their lowest point and make sure they have access to services if they need them.

Story

Myself and 7 members of the NE team at ISOQAR are going to be doing a team building and challenge to complete the 3 peaks challenge in a day to raise money for Shropshire MHS and towards funding the well-being vehicle which offers direct support to people in crisis, suicide prevention, outreach and advocacy, and support for individuals and families of those suffering from poor mental health.

Shropshire MHS is a community-based charity that provides person-centred support to individuals affected by mental or emotional distress in Shropshire. Established in 1974, we offer a wide range of quality services throughout the county, to help bridge the gap between illness and full independence for our service users.

Shropshire Mental Health Services vision is to ensure that everyone has the right to live equally with others and enjoy a good quality of life, regardless of the areas in which they need support and for how long. We respect our users and strive for justice and equality of access to services. We work in partnership with our clients to ensure that their right to make choices is preserved and that they can play the fullest possible part in their communities.
