We address the stigma of poor mental health to promote positive mental wellbeing

Story

* A third of construction workers suffer elevated levels of anxiety every day.

* 700 people working in the UK construction sector die each year from committing suicide.

* Over two thirds believe there is a stigma surrounding mental health which stops them from talking about it.#

Mates in Mind are a wonderful organisation who are looking to change this, by raising awareness and breaking down the stigma of mental health in industry

Over the years I have engaged with so many companies who have spoken of the great work they do and solutions they have provided.

Next week i will be setting off from Lands End with the aim of walking over 1000 miles from the bottom to the top of the UK.

I am truly excited to get back to basics and work on my own mindfulness whilst raising awareness and funds for this very worthy cause.
