After 26 failed attempts of applying for the London marathon I have decided to run for charity. I didn’t want to randomly choose any charity and after some research found “KIDS CANCER CHARITY “ based in Swansea.(formed in 1989). I emailed them recently and they invited me in for a chat. I have to tell you that these guys are incredible. The work they do for children with cancer and their families is breathtaking. This includes

* play therapy for kids with cancer

* ongoing support for families and especially siblings

* care breaks .This includes sending children and families to Disney Florida, Eurodisney or 4 caravans and a lodge in UK to have a holiday that they probably would never have without this charity.

This includes kids who have rung the bell, and unfortunately kids who may be on their last ever holiday with their families…..Have a think about that for a moment…….

Now you’ve thought about it I would be incredibly grateful if you could sponsor me for the London marathon next year. My aim is a MINIMUM of £2000 but these guys deserve more so every single £1 will be very gratefully received…..THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU …….And don’t forget gift aid please if your eligible.
