Story
As many of you know, completing the London marathon has been top of my bucket list for over 35 years.... In 2025 I had the chance to complete it for a cancer charity but after getting to the start line, and running 15 miles, I had to pull out due to being later diagnosed with Glandular fever which wiped me out for a few months.
Having a massive scratch to itch, I've applied for another charity place and SENSE has kindly given me another opportunity to compete in the only marathon that matters to me. Thank you so much sense ❤️
Sense is a national Charity that supports people who are deafblind and those with complex disabilities, to be understood, connected and valued.
They are there for every person who faces communication barriers in a world that relies on being able to see and hear well to be connected. Together we can unlock barriers to communication so no one is isolated, left out or unable to fulfil their potential.
Thank you for helping me reach my London Marathon goal.
