Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause.
As some of you may know, my Grandad fought bravely against Dementia for over a decade before sadly passing away at the age of 94 in 2023. His journey has left a profound impact on all of his family and friends. He was fortunate to have the unwavering support of his children throughout his battle, allowing him to stay at home and before passing away surrounded by his loved ones, something that many others are not so lucky to experience.
I am proud to join "Team Dementia UK" in this half-marathon, as we strive to raise awareness and funds for those affected by this challenging condition. My goal is to raise £750 to support vital research and services that can make a difference in the lives of individuals and families facing Dementia. Having never ran further than 5km before the start of 2025, no doubt it’ll be a huge challenge for me 👀 🐷
Thank you so much in advance for considering a donation, no matter how small; it truly will make a massive difference in supporting this important cause.
