Story
I’ve always prided myself on staying fit and healthy, embracing an active lifestyle and challenging myself along the way. Yet, despite taking care of my body, I went and had a friggin ticker-tac didn’t I.
About 11 months ago I was just at the start of my training plan to run a marathon in support of the cancer charity that treated me, but then whilst out running I suffered a heart attack, I was only a mile in! 😖
So naturally I’ll be running this years Manchester Half Marathon for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
The BHF is dedicated to funding vital research, supporting patients, and improving treatments for heart and circulatory diseases. By running this race, I hope to raise much-needed funds that could help prevent others from facing the same unexpected challenges.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference. If you can support my journey by donating, it would mean the world to me. And if you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this page can help spread the word.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for supporting a cause that is close to my heart.
