Story

I'm Sean, and I'm one of the children's doctors at Staffordshire Children's Hospital @ Royal Stoke.

We're currently raising money to purchase a small ultrasound scanner to help us find veins in unwell children, to make it easier to insert cannulas when they're very poorly to give them life-saving drugs and fluids. I haven't run a half marathon in nearly fifteen years, so what better time than the present?

Luckily, I've chosen our local one, the Potters 'arf, which is disgustingly hilly, with a charming section in the last mile called Heartbreak Hill. It would be lovely if my pain and suffering could contribute towards our appeal and make a difference to children and young people in the local area.

Begging over. Donate away if you'd like.
