J Lok is raising money for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society

CFBL Salon- Art Meets Charities · 10 June 2025

Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society 's mission is to end the destruction of habitat and the slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.

Story

At the CFBL Salon, we believe that art can inspire change. This year, our students have chosen to merge their creative expressions with a cause they deeply care about. Through our theme “Art Meets Charity”, we are raising funds to support marine conservation — a vital issue selected by our student body.

While the Salon celebrates four ocean-focused charities —

1.Sea Shepherd: Defending marine life through direct action

2. The Ocean Cleanup: Removing plastic from our oceans

3. Marine Conservation Society: Protecting UK seas and ecosystems

4. Turtle Foundation: Safeguarding endangered sea turtles

— all donations through this page will go directly to Sea Shepherd, an international marine conservation organization known for its bold and direct approach to defending ocean wildlife.

This year’s CFBL Salon features inspiring artwork, sculpture, and printmaking by students from across the Primary and Secondary School. We warmly invite you to experience the exhibition in person on Tuesday, 10th June 5-7pm.

Every donation makes a difference. Thank you for supporting our young artists and the cause they care about.
