On my birthday (the 21st of November) at 9am I’ll be taking on a full marathon around the local villages to raise money for The Lynsey Ivison Trust.The Trust was set up by my Nanny and Pops in memory of their daughter, Lynsey Ivison, making this something that means so much to our family. The Trust sends children with life limiting illnesses on holiday giving them moments of happiness, and something truly special to look forward to duringo what can be an unimaginably difficult time.

For my marathon, I’m hoping to raise enough money to cover the ground rent on our Haven caravan, which is used by children affected by life limiting illnesses. Knowing that the money I raise could help give a child and their family a holiday, a break from hospitals and treatments, and memories they can treasure forever makes every mile worth it.

I’ll be starting and finishing my marathon at The Blind Fiddler in Anstey, where, on the evening of my birthday, they will be holding a charity night in aid of the Lynsey Ivison Trust. There will be a DJ, auction and raffle, with the hope of raising as much money as possible for this incredibly special cause.
