Story
In September I’ll be running The Lap Ultra Marathon to raise money for Billy’s Battalion.
Billy played at the same sports club as my son and, a few years ago, sadly lost his battle with DIPG - a devastating paediatric brain cancer that primarily affects children.
DIPG currently has no cure. Across the US and UK, nearly 400 children are diagnosed with this disease each year.
Billy’s Battalion was set up to raise awareness of DIPG and to fund better trials, better treatments, and ultimately help find a cure.
To support the incredible work Billy’s Battalion is doing, I’ll be taking on the challenge of running The Lap Ultra Marathon.
Any support, however small, would mean a great deal and is hugely appreciated.
