Story
The Teenage Cancer Trust has been of invaluable support to my good friends (and colleague), Clive and Catherine Cottrell, whose son Frankie was diagnosed with an aggressive blood cancer in October 2024 and has been undergoing intensive treatment since.
Frankie - and his family - spent many months on the Teenage Cancer Trust unit at the Royal Marsden. Frankie, only 17 at the time of diagnosis, has been incredibly brave and thankfully is in remission now. The TCT offered Frankie a range of support from specialist nurses and mental health support, to education continuity and youth coordinators who help maintain a sense of normality.
Clive and Catherine, and their other son Henry, have been though the mill but have nothing but the deepest admiration and immense gratitude for the work of Teenage Cancer Trust. It makes a genuine difference to families facing these challenges.
On Friday 26th June 2026, the Racecourse Media Group team is taking on a tough and spectacular 20-mile trek along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset - all to raise vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust.
We’d love your support, whether it’s £5, £20, £50 or whatever you can give. Your generosity will motivate the team and show them their hard effort is truly making an impact.
Thank you so much for your support - together we can change young lives.
