I'm running the Sheffield 10K 2026 for Sheffield Hospitals Charity to give back for amazing treatment my mum received at Northern General Hospital, after her involvement in an unexpected road traffic accident.

In total mum spend four weeks in Northern General Hospital, two weeks of which on the Critical Care unit after a long surgery to fix multiple broken ribs.

Fortunately she is now recovering at home, which is a testament to the care and support she received during her hospital stay.

Without the care of the team in Critical Care, and Chesterman 3 ward following that, Mum would not be in the position she is now and her recovery would not be so smooth.

I'm joining #TeamSHC to run the Sheffield 10K in 2026 to support my local hospitals!
