Working in healthcare as an ICU nurse in Erie I have had first hand experience of the many challenges faced when working with individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges. It is amazing that a place like the Barber National Institute exists with dedicated and caring staff. It is a shame that this will be the last ever Beast on The Bay Fundraiser Run, so help me make it count!

The Barber National Institute provides hope and opportunity to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, behavioral health challenges and autism. The Barber Beast on the Bay is a signature event of Barber National Institute and is a visible example of their belief that all people must be afforded every opportunity to attain the greatest use of their potential.
