I am raising money to purchase an Abi Cooling Cot in memory of my son Sebastian. He would have been turning 21 on 12th October 2025.

If I am able to raise the full amount, I will be able to have the cot dedicated in his memory with a plaque. However, any contribution towards a cot is a huge help.

I will be doing various things to fundraise; including a Variety Show on 12th October (his birthday) which will feature music, comedy, a drag act, hula hoopers, songs from Phantom of the Opera, a silent auction as well as some surprises. The grand prize raffle will also be drawn at the event. I’ll also be selling some of my crafts.

The Abi Cooling Cot is a refrigerated unit that allows families to spend more time with their deceased baby than would otherwise be possible. The cooling cot helps parents to bond with their baby and aids the grieving process. The cooling cot is supplied by Abigail's Footsteps in partnership with The Bond Group . We have delivered cots to over 100 hospitals and hospices in the UK and Ireland so far. It is our mission to encourage all bereavement suites in hospitals to have at least two cooling cots.
