Story
Having been on many running adventures, I’ve often been told I should do one for a good cause; it’s about time I did, and on March 21st, I'll be running the Winter's End 50 mile race from Arundel to Winchester.
I’ve chosen to support Home-Start Hampshire, an amazing local charity that helps families with young children through some of the most challenging circumstances. I’ve seen first-hand the impact they have, and my dad is proud to serve as Co-Chair of Trustees.
With childhood poverty at its highest in years, ongoing cost-of-living pressures, and little improvement in quality of life since 2008, families, especially those with young children, are often hit the hardest.
Those who know me know I believe in leaving the world better than we found it. Supporting families is one of the best ways to give children, the next generation, a better start in life.
Running 50 miles from Arundel to Winchester will be tough — but it’s nothing compared to the daily challenges many families face. If you’re able to donate a few pounds, it really would make a difference.
